Mount Rinjani Volcano is an active volcano in Indonesia, located on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. It rises to 3,726 meters above sea level, making it the second-highest volcano in Indonesia. Mount Rinjani offers an exploration of beautiful natural landscapes.

Discover the stunning world of nature-based eco-tourism with the picturesque Crater Lake known as Segara Anak or Anak Laut (Child of the Sea). Preserve this beautiful natural world through eco-tourism. The lake is approximately 2,010 meters above sea level. Gunung Baru Jari, an active volcano in the middle of the lake, is approximately 350 meters above the lake level or 2,360 meters above sea level.

Experience the healing hot springs near the lake, located a short 10-minute walk from the campsite. Trekkers can enjoy the hot springs on the descent from Mount Rinjani summit if starting their journey from Sembalun, or before climbing to the summit if starting in Senaru.

Mount Rinjani Volcano is a holy mountain, climbed for religious purposes (meditations) by local people who believe in the spirit of Mount Rinjani. Every year, Hindus from Lombok and Bali climb Mount Rinjani for meditation and prayer. Local people at the foot of Mount Rinjani believe that the healing hot springs near the lake can cure various diseases.
